Day 2 02/25/16



The set up of the MOSFET circuit. 


A closer view of the same circuit. The V+ and ground are connected  with the brown and black wires. The W+ is connected to he orange wire. The alligator clips were used to  measure current through the circuit.


The w+ represented by the white. The w+ is connected to the Gate site in the MOSFET. The ground is connected to source and the positive is connected to drain.

currents and voltages (across resistor) at differing voltages applied to the gate. Our group changed the step sizes so we could get more granular data over areas that have a higher slope.

The purpose was to see what effect adding voltage to the mosfet had on the system . And one can see that it acts as a valve for current, since a voltage past the threshold (around 2V), the current jumps to full current. The change in current completes approximately within a 1.5 V of applied voltage.
